FRUITS OF THE FOREST !!!

Ok so we have all heard the phrase "Fruits of the Forest" today I came across it on a particular cider that states it is made with " ... the concentrate juice of the fruits of the forest" - this is not cider as I like it - pink in colour and tasted rank ... but I digress

Now I don't know about you but I am not aware of that many fruits that grow in a forest ? I'm sure there are a few obscure ones though

I associate forest's with mushrooms and toadstools, dank, damp and dingy places that are full of locals that play the banjo in a tree and shout out squeel piggy squeel.

Places where you are chased by axe wielding maniacs, where you trip over a small twig and meet a gruesome end.

Places where there are skinned badgers nailed to the tree, rotting in the day light and dripping ooze

I would suggest that next time you see the phrase "Fruits of the Forest" you run a mile and certainly not buy the cider.
